CHURCH LEADERSHIP
THE LOCAL CHURCH COUNCIL – LCC
A local church council is a body that plans, implements, and evaluates the mission and ministry of a church. It also administers the church’s organization and daily life.
A local church council’s mandate is to plan, implement, and evaluate the church’s mission and ministry. The council’s responsibilities include:
- Supporting the lead pastor: Providing support and encouragement, and offering counsel on matters of discipleship, staff, and leadership
- Reviewing decisions: Reviewing and endorsing major ministry decisions, such as staff hires and new ministries
- Receiving reports: Receiving reports from the lead pastor and central operations team
- Supporting the vision: Supporting the vision and mission of the church
- Receiving feedback: Receiving feedback from staff and congregation members
- Participating in leadership review: Participating in the review and appraisal of the lead pastor
- Updating the risk register: Reviewing, monitoring, and updating the church’s risk register
- Communicating: Ensuring the congregation knows what each group is doing
- Exercising discipline: Exercising discipline on behalf of the congregation when appropriate
- Modeling discipleship: Modeling good habits of personal devotion and discipleship

THE WOMEN’S CHURCH COMMITTEE – WCC
The group is headed by the Lady Pastor and exists to look into the women and feminine affairs of the Church members and the community around.
THE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
This group is the development wing of the Church, and also takes care of the Welfare matters of the Church.
The current Development Chair is Mr. Matthew Mbinda and lead a team of 25 members. This is the same team that has been in the force since the establishment of the Church.
The Development Committee has been in place since 2006 and has been instrumental in purchasing the Church land and a modern Multi-Million Church hall which is still under construction but at the finishing stages.
The church conducts fundraising drives every April and a family thanksgiving fundraising every November. This year, the function will be on 8th December 2024 and the target is Kes. 2M. The Church leadership has set aside every Second Sunday of the Month to support this group.
